I had no idea the blind beggar was played by John Bluthal @SteliosStylianou. I will always associate this talented actor with two comedies - 'Never Mind the Quality, Feel the Width' and 'The Vicar of Dibley'. R.I.P. John Bluthal 1929 - 2018🎭

This hits home hard, As a child I got my finger bit by a "pup ouut" lighter.................I was alone in the car and pannicked, it was stuck on my finger, I thought something had bit me. Was crying up a storm... 50 some years ago, the trauma is still there.
